I just purchased a 94 530i, it needs some work. I know that the valves on cylendar 5 and 8 are leaking. I am thinking that I want to attempt to do the valves, but I really don't know anything about this motor. I am looking for any advice, tips or cautions that I should know before I tear the heads off and take them to a machine shop.
you may have the nikasil block problem - low compression?
