First Chop - 1991 Miata

Upon aquiring Photoshop 7 from a good friend, I decided to chop my newest car purchace: A 1991 blue Miata. Despite the fact that it is in perfect condition, it needed a little something. First off, I had to change the color because red is an awesome color, then the questonable 14 inch alloys had to go, and finally I lowered it so that the new shoes filled up the arches nicely. It's pretty simple chop, but I like it!

Really nice job, especially for a first try. Good work, keep it up.
We call those mazda mx5's
cool, I did one for my buddy's 03 Miata also.
I don't have the initial original with me, this one has been dropped.
and this is after.
I seldom do photoshop, so it might looks kinda rough
I just want to join the party.
oh yea by the way, the rear wheel is off, and I tried my best already. Can anyone give it a try and fix it for me please?
peace
Cool, but that side molding has GOT to go!

Don't worry, these are the pictures I took just days after it was bought. The winter plans for this car is to get it ready to the autocross season next year (shocks, springs, tires etc) and while we're doing that a couple of cosmetic things are going to be done. Namely, the side molding and faded quot;go-fasterquot; stripes.

Sounds like a good plan. Have fun w/the Miata, it's the best car I've ever owned. Tons of upgrades you can do, though I have a friend that's done so much to his Miata that it's not quite as reliable as a stock one anymore! Mine is mostly bone-stock, the only modifications I've done have been to make the interior look cooler w/vintage gauges, chrome vent and gauge rings, molded C/F center stack and console trim, techno-looking Momo shifter. I will do suspension/brake/wheel/tire upgrades when the current tires are worn. I really like the balance of the car as-is; I don't race it-I just enjoy it. I know a couple guys who are building spec Miata racers.
Looks really good, Especially for a first timer
