pics of my ultra zenki 240sx


Some members before wanted to see what my car looked like so here it is:
Titled the thread ultra zenki b/c the OEM color my car is quot;ultra redquot; which is kind of corny.  Right now I can't afford any mods till summer.  I just need to lower it and get some 17's before I'm done with cosmetics.

The only thing I've really done to it is put the NaVan wing spoiler on it, got a much better stereo system instead of my blown out stock speakers, and a black tint was there when i bought it.  The black tint makes my car looks so much better, glad it came like that when I bought it used.  Red with the black tint mixes well
Those wheels look tiny. What size were stock for US cars?
tiny and car is too high, really need to get some 17's and drop it.  Would really like a five lug conversion but that'll run me a grand.  Guess I'll have to poke around for awhile for nice 4-lug rims

^ yes I know everytime I show my car out to someone on the internet, first thing they usually say is quot;Oh I like it except the auto, get a manual!quot;  Well where I'm at, there's over population and it's only getting worst.  Traffic is the biggest bitch here, also I've poked around for a 240 far too long and I haven't come across a zenki manual, most of them have been auto.  I found mine at a great price ($3,900) so just decided to get it since it was a great price.  I've been still keeping up with 240sx's being sold around here, not only do they not have manuals, but no one are selling 240sx's at all anymore.  Also I wanted the zenki style anyways, kouki preferred but out of my price range.
3900 is a good price...though a manual conversion will cost quite a bit and to add the things that the se had you'll be past the range that most SE manuals go for in the first place
That wing does look nice...don't like the color much either...black, emerald green and metallic blue/green are the best colors...though the dark reddish metallic looks nice too...a little too purple sometimes
The 92 I was about to buy wasn't virgin :-/ and 2k was more than I wanted to spend for a car that was thrashed and street raced. So now my quest for my 96 se manual is back on...hopefully by febuary or march I will be posting pics. If I can't get a 96 then I am also looking at 97 and 98s and will just convert them to a zenki later...after I do a swap or turbo the engine and do all the other minor mods I want.
still a nice 240 btw...even if it is auto   
yeah nice car... but are you going for performance? if not then i have no problem with the car but if you are you should sell it and get a new one lol... i dont really like the spoiler myself... thats a mr2 91-93 spoiler right? or just one that looks like it?

naw i just want to make it look a lil better and have a lil better acceleration.  I don't plan to drift or drag race, just as my daily driver.  For performance I plan to get injen intake w/ cold air extention, and apex'i dual n1's exhaust system.  Dunno about headers yet, I've asked many times if anyone knows how much hp it increases around but no one has answered.  Hey klohiq since u like the zenki style, and i like the kouki style, maybe we can swap front-ends if you do get a kouki lol.  The spoiler is a NaVan wing spoiler, dunno if it's an mr2 one or not

heres the diffrence between base and se (besides options available for both cars)...taken from socal240sx...
5lug wheels, foglams, driver seat lumbar support, spoiler, seat pattern trim, 2 speed variable winsheild wipers, white faced guages, auto antena, cd player, security system.....
now out of that whole list the 5 lug wheels seem to be the only thing worth mentioning and thats not even that important, if important at all.
wow, you have better winshield wipers than base models...true the security system would be nice, but out of that whole list, the SE package just means youre slower than the base model.
its funny how you seem to brag about having an se, because its not that rare to have an se. i, on the otherhand, look only for base models because its lighter. plus the fact you drive slushbox just adds  more weight.
automatic 240sx tranny isnt too heavy, I can lift it up and throw it on a table lol, plus the clutch and flywheel weigh more then a torque converter. A bigass auto like found in a v8 pickup is HEAVY! little honda trannis and shit I can throw up on my shoulder lol

5 lug isn't that great lol, so what a 300zx brake rotor bolts right up, you can buy em from srswap predrilled for a 4 lug if you want and it will bolt right up too! that is about the ONLY benefit of the 5 lug... that it will fit a stock cheap junkyard 300zx rotor. You can find wheels in 4 lug pattern too, just search for them specifically you will find lots of wheels for that, in rwd offset patterns too, not just lil Honda 17x7 40 offset wheels lol.
in the SE models I don't even like the white-faced guages, doesn't really fit the interior of the car.  One thing I would want in my car is power locks, and LSD would be nice.
you can buy kits for just about anything thanks to the Hot Rod and Custom scene. You can buy power door lock kits, window kits, door poppers, trunk poppers, hood poppers, whatever u want.....
and I kinda like doors without power locks in coupes. With all the new technology and shit doors lock just when you dont want them to, and its a lot easier to lock in your keys on accident. Happens quite a few times at mechanic shop cause we leave keys in car when its on the lift ... sometimes when u close some cars doors they will lock, which can be a PITA, must leave windows down but if you forget, time to get the slim jim or other tools and goto town for awhile lol.
