What is the box bolted to the passenger side of the shock tower brace on my sons 04 MSM? It has a hose that goes down toward the turbo and another hose that routes through the STB to the drivers side. What does it do? What is it were blocked off when we change the STB.
Also, what options are there for an quot;open atmospherequot; BOV, etc.

that would be the factory oil catch can.
Vent to atmosphere for your bypass valve can be tricky if you don't have ECU support (you will go super rich, and then potentially stall if the valve doesn't close hard enough and seal well enough) ...
unless your running a MUCH bigger compressor than factory, the only benefit it gets you is the cool sound it makes.
