Roush Stg. 2 or Saleen?

Hey all, I'm looking for some advice. I'm currently looking for a Roush Stg. 2 or a Saleen non-supercharged (supers are too much lol) Year 99-01. If I was to find both, which should I go for. I'm thinking the Roush because up by me I haven't seen many if any Roush on the roads. I've seen maybe 2 or 3 Saleens surprisingly. Also with the saleen everybody it putting the body it on to look like a Saleen and rarely there is a Roush body kit on a GT. Also, gotta love the side pipes   
yea, i support the roush.  saleen is played and i think roushes have more to offer.
Are you just talking about body kits or are you talking about the actual cars? I dont know much about rousch so I couldn't really tell you much about that. If you are talking about the actual cars than what Saleen are u talking about? There is the S281, S281E, and the S351. I dont know much about rousches but I'm pretty sure none of them are gonna out perform the S351. As for looks thats all in your opinion. I think you would have a much more unique car going with the rousch but in my opinion I like the looks of Saleen's better.
i'm under the impession the s351 got dropped prior to 99.
99 was the last year for the S351.
His choices would be;
For 99;
-S281
-S281 cobra
-S351
For 00;
-S281
For 01;
-S281
-S281 Cobra

I myself personaly like Roush over Saleen in the looks department. Actually I think Jack Roush makes a very nice aftermarket Mustang all together!
I use to see a lot of Saleens now I see all Rouschs and no Saleens. Niether the stage 2 nor the S-281 is offering huge HP gains so it come down to looks and handling. Handling wise the Rousch Stage 2 is one of the best Mustangs I have ever driven. It felt very superior to Mustangs that have added all the right parts to make it handle. Looks-wise the Saleen is 10X what the the Rousch in every area of the car. The only look the Rousch has over the Saleen is the side-exhuast.
My opinion:
The S351 was also in 2000. At least that is what says. I couldn't say for sure if they are right but I'm gonna go with that site since it is a pretty good Saleen site.

The book I have does not list S351 for 2000, sorry. Unless there were left over 99's sold in 00.
Like I said I'm just going by what says if u go on there click on S351 then go to specs it will show you the 2000 specs
Yes, I am looking for the actualy car, I dont go for the body kits that make a GT look like something a whole lot better then it really is, unless of course you fix the engine too. The s351 and Saleen Extreme are out of the question because i can't go any higher then 20 grand...MAX. I've heard about the s281 cobra, what exactly is that because I've seen cobra's with the Saleen body kit and that cant be it. I've got like every site bookmarked but if you have any tell me and i'll see if i've been there.

You do realize that roush stage 2 and saleen S281's are basically GT's with a body kit, rims, exhaust + CAI, sometimes breaks, and usually some minor suspension shit like springs and maybe some control arms. You're paying all that extra money for the name, not because of it's performance or looks.
Not really, a lot of them have fixed up the suspension and some other mods like the shifters and stuff. I'm looking for a Stg. 2 or higher though. I said Stg. 2 cause I dont want anythying lower then a stage 2. For the Saleen I may get the supercharged which I hope, but only if i find one below 20,000 dollars.

I'm probably leaning more towards the Roush Stage 2 or higher. I'd love to have a Roush Classic or Roush 380r but you know, theyr are like 30+. The pic is of a 360r, which I'd take in a heart beat too.
