What other cars have Pre-Safe other than Benz?
As the subject says...it is a really nice touch in safety. Do other manufacturers integrate a "Mercedes-Benz Pre-Safe" pre-collision system that's equivalent or better than Benz besides not driving period?

are you saying benz car are safe?
Lexus.
What BMW does so well is, helping you avoid accidents while still maintaining control of the car. We'd rather you not be in the accident at all.....

Ummm... yeah because we all know BMW will always make your car stop on a dime and the drivers are always perfect.
If you're looking for safety, reliability, and top ratings- go with Lexus.

You could apply that same sarcasm to your coveted Lexus.
arent volvo safe cars?
You could be the best driver in the world, but that doesnt mean you wont get into an accident. Other drivers out there are complete idiots, and even with defensive driving techniques it can be hard to avoid a collision.
Accident prevention is good, but accident safety is more important.

They have a reputation (thats well warranted) for making some of the safest cars on the road.

Volvo does have the safest cars in term of collision.
BMW and Mercedes have the safest car's and SUV's too.
Lexus is good, but BMW and Mercedes are higher in my opinion. The X5, XC90, and ML have some of the best accident reports!

Start a new thread. My thread has been answered.
Mercedes technology. Lexus will immitate it and put it on their Benz wannabe in a year or two, because that's what they do. Why buy the immitation when you can just buy the real thing?!?

Umm...according to this article, maybe BMWs (well, only the 5 series) aren't good at avoiding accidents. All of the 5-series competitors passed with no problems.

Yes that is with a full load, you are forgetting.
Go drive a 5 series then tell me its not good at avoiding accidents. When my dad and i were driving it, we had to swerve like crazy to avoid a major dip, it did an awesome job!

Cars are meant to perform well in any situation that they are designed for. If the car can be on the road with a full load, it should be able to still maintain the same safety standards in general that it has any other time.

Dude, take into consideration the source. That link you posted is questionable. |
