Any advice on getting a Miata on jack stands? Where to jack, and where to place the stands? My 95 Corvette, (since gone) you jacked up one side, and then the other rather than front and rear. Thanks.

The most common answer for this is (and read that as quot;this has been answered many times beforequot;);
- Jack up front on subframe cross-member (in front of the oil pan), put stands on the 2 front side jacking points.
- jack up the rear on the differential quot;pumpkinquot;, put stands on the 2 rear side jacking points.
People will no doubt bring up the issue that the side quot;jacking pointsquot; should require a shaped block of wood to seat up against the solid part of the jacking point (a-la factory jack), not the seam, while others will state that they have done it pleanty of times on the jacking point-seam position with no damage.
