Sorry, this has been posted at least once before...

So now all the usable parts that Were still good are wrecked from running with no oil? Nice way to trash a good head and  cam bearings. I guess he has a money tree in the back yard and just picks some off when he screws the car up and needs new parts?

It sucks to see this, but lets be honest, there are plenty of spare Miata engines hanging around.  And if you read the comments, the video poster says he already had a built block ready to be put in, and that the video was the final farewell for the old breaking block anyway.  IMO, its not a bad send off, big booms are always fun.  And, he also said it was the radiator that went and the old engine still ran afterwards, just with a horrible knock.
Oh well, cool video.

Rocket Scientists - Darwin will catch up them soon enough.
