87 2.8 overheated, fried fuel pump, wont start

Hello;   Anybody know what else usually fries on a 1987 camaro when it over heats?    I pulled over, turned it off and it hasn't turned over since.     I replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, water pump, spark plugs, distributor cap and fan motor.   Getting fuel and spark now but I can't get it started which prevents new codes from coming up I think.  Code 12 just after it happened.  Disconnected battery to work on it.  Will new codes set if just cranking?   Have been doing my best with shop manual.
