Finished: Loctite R34 with 100% scratch build engine
Oh yeah! It is finally finish. Progress post is here. The engine is scratch build with putty, not the engine from R32 kit. CF decal used on the dash board. I have more pictures in my site. Click on the link in my signature. Feel free to ask me questions about this model. Enjoy.
Full engine with some detail.
Cockpit.
Awesome car. :22yikes:
Did you use putty only, no styrene for a skeleton?
How did you make the hood pins?
Thanks

Great and detailed work!
I use many of your fine skyline models as refferences for my own. Keep up the great work.
That's sweet. Love the detail.
that engine looks killer
Very nice, nice detail work and a nice addition to your collection. What's next ?
my eye's burn.
Stunning job...love it
very cool, awesome engine, but can we see some undercarriage pics? I'd like to know if the oill pan is in its same place as a regular R34, and not further down, because the RB is a tall motor, so you putting it down, would require the pan pretty much to be a low-pro or down on the ground.
Wow! Awesome skyline.
That is the type of skyline I can really appreciate. Congratulations on such a wonderful build.
One suggestion though, could you have filled in the gap between the bodyshell and wheelarches more? In one of the shots you can see daylight from the engine through to the wheelarch. Of course in saying that I'm assuming that the real car is based on a procuction chassis. I'm not too familiar with the JGTC so that may not be the case!
Beautiful! Clean build and a very ambitious engine installation. I've been waiting to see this one built up since the progress thread appeared. The entire thing is just incredibly impressive. Hood pins, tow hook, engine, everything, perfect!! Can't wait to see the next peice you make.
great job love that engine detail sweet!!!
