Adjusted Idle speed - And now it returns back...

...to where it was.
'94 and it runs great.  No other mods.
I adjusted the idle speed (Via the Garage instructions, Jumper etc) on my '94 to
approximately 900rpm.  After this, I noticed the idle quot;returnedquot; to the previous
setting of 700-750rpm.
I'm wondering why that is?  Is something overriding it?  Granted, I'm going by the tach and not a more accurate measurement device.  But still?
Any ideas why?  Computer?

Yes, the ECU is probably pulling back the idle to where it thinks it should be. What is the idle quality with your tach showing 700 - 750 rpm? If the idle is smooth and steady, then don't worry. If you're having issues, you may want to check the set-up of your throttle position sensor.

Thank you. The idle quality isn't bad.  A bit on the low side as sometimes it will stumble and fall.  Not very often.   I was just trying to make sure everything was in quot;specquot;.
This is one part of my car that I'm not knowledgeable on.  I'll look up how to check the TPS in the garage section.  And additional advice is welcome.  Thanks for the info!

You may want to also check the ECU internals. Some 94 units have a capacitor that will leak with time. I suggest that you get yourself a workshop manual as you appear to be a long term owner.

Thanks for the link and info!  I'm very deficient in knowing this.
