Corbeau FX1 PRO?

So I just bought a Miata that looks like it was used for autocross previously, and the seats in it are these wobbly A1Cs, which are worn out, too high, and not remotely tight enough. Anyways, once the top and tires get replaced, the seats are next. I really like the look of the FX1 Pro, and the sizing seems to be about right (if anything, a tad big), and they're not too expensive. But the posts about fitting them in an NA seem to be mixed, whether they just quot;don't fitquot; or are quot;too highquot;. So I'm looking for suggestions, should I go for these? Or, aim for a Forza or Clubman, Cobra Monaco, Sparco Sprint (worried about durability for those, this will be my DD), Momo Start, or something aluminum like the Ultrashield? If I'm feeling real cheap, I could even try the Scat Pro Sports on summit. Open to other suggestions, but try not to go too much over $300, less is definitely better as I'm 17 and working at Chick-Fil-A. I'm 6' tall, relatively long torso, so it needs to be LOW, I don't mind too much if I have to fabricate brackets, but I'd rather not modify the floor unless necessary. ~150lb, 30-32quot; waist, pretty flexible so I don't care how difficult it is to get in and out, I want it to fit while driving.

Make sure you're very happy with the comfort level of these in a DD. I had FX1s in my Camaro. They were great for a run around a track or a 15 minute ride to the store, but terribly uncomfortable if I was in the car more than 30 minutes or so.

Yeah, I'll definitely try to sit in whatever I decide to buy before I go through with it. I think any good buckets are going to be better than the A1Cs is there right now, which oddly I find to be more comfortable than the stock seats in either the Camry or the Odyssey anyways, never had a problem with firm seats personally. The question is more whether I can get this into a Miata, and mount them low enough. If not, what does fit and can mount low enough? BTW, I have relatively wide shoulders for my weight, 18quot; across the bones, if anyone thinks this makes a difference on what seat to get.
