guys, I just got my xenon 8000k at the front door, would like to replace OEM xenon. popped the hood, looked under, unscrewed a few things, but now i am stuck. i don't want to F things up. looked for AA diy = COULDN'T FIND ONE, CAN ANYONE POINT ME TO ONE, OR EXAPLIN HOW OT DO IT. hit sorry for the all CAPS, didn't notice. thanks
Pop off the rubber boot behind the headlight, pull off the red plug by twisting it then pulling towards the rear of the car.
Undo the plastic ring that holds the bulb in by unscrewing it. Carefully take out the bulb. Pay close attention to how the bulb sits in that plastic ring. Place the new bulb just like the old one in the plastic ring and carefully position it back in the headlight and then twist tight. Put the plug back on. Then make sure the boot is SECURELY on!!!
DO NOT touch either the OEM bulb or the new bulbs. Only hold them from their plastic base!!!
ok i got as far as pulling the red cap off..... ok let me go try the rest of what you said... i just don't see how to take the bulb out.... let me go seee... thanks dude, i appreciate it.

got them in. 1st was a *****, 2nd was a bit easier. Whoever said this is a ten minute mod is ...... well i guess it is if you've done it before. Looks sick. 8000k. ahhhhh. for now it's only head bulbs. FOGS are in the mail and so are corners. I wish there were DDEs available in 8000k. sucks....
