copper gasket sealer on head gasket?
good idea? bad idea?
Every head gasket I've ever replaced was a dry fitment. I'd say~
BAD IDEA!!!!
You have a potential for an uneven fit that might seat at first but could result in failure later.
Bad idea...most head gaskets come with some sort of coating that acts as a seal...just use the head gasket as it comes out of the package. And make sure sure you position it correctly...
