Tirerack customer rating on BMW OE tires.. why so harsh?

Almost every OE BMW tire gets trashed at tirerack.. all Turanzas, Michelins, even Dunlop 2000Es.. i've owned 2 OE sets and they were long lasting, rode fine, never gave a problem.. ??  i also rode on the "top-of-theclass" rated tires and they were ok but 10x better than OE.. so what's the deal???
