New Ride

Hello All;
Been lurking for a few weeks.  Attached are pics of my new to me ride.  Its a 2006 Sport, Galaxy Gray with a 6 speed MT.  So far so good.  Its a blast to drive.  Convinced the wife it would be a good commuter car.

Congrats, JRB.  The more that you drive it, the more that you'll love it!  Also....well done on convincing the quot;trouble and strifequot;.  I'm sure that she'll fall in love with it too over time.

Good buy,, and good sell (to the wife that is).  Great car.   And congrats and welcome on your first post.  The fun is only beginning.

It will make a great commuter. Just be sure to wipe the grin off of your face before you get home each day. Don't want her to suspect anything.

Well JRB, you've already gotten your welcome package from humfrz,  but here's a welcome from the unofficial Maryland greeter.  Glad to have you  on board.  My wife and I like to drive around Kent Island and the Eastern Shore, looking at the scenery and checking out places for sale.  We were in your neighborhood about a month ago.  I hope your commute doesn't include closing  the bridge every day.   But if it does, I think you'll find that the clutch and 6 speed aren't too taxing.  And it's sure nice to close that bridge on a beautiful day with the top down.   Have fun with your ride, and wave if you see me.  Steve

I do commute across the bridge everyday.  It only gets really nasty on Saturdays.  All the rest is livable.  My daily commute is a breeze to what the people in NOVA put up with.  Eastern Shore is a great place to live, well worth the traffic.  Thanks for the welcome.

Congrats and welcome.  My car is a daily driver and it is an excellent commuter car.  Good gas mileage and fun to drive.  Drop the top before leaving work and, by the time you get home, the wind will have blown all your cares away.
