Any suggestions for a nice winter jacket?

I need a new winter jacket, something that's warm but looks good (more on the looks side than the warm side if need be  ). nothing sporty though (north face, spyder), coz i wanna be able to wear this to go out, not go ski.
oh and i also need it to be moderately cheap coz im poor
any suggestions?

If you want to be able to wear a coat out (meaning dressy) then the only thing that fits your criteria is a blazer which you can keep on indoors.  All coats were meant to come off when you step inside.

ok i dont mean dressy to that extent though

  i like my armani exchange wool coat.  its sexy.
i always see little asian girls in columbia jackets with theit little head popping out.
Timberland make pretty good jackets.
