To anybody that knows.
I know regular xbox games will work on the 360, but will they release specific 360 games with better graphics and sound or will all new games from now on work for both xbox and xbox 360? for example, i have xbox right now, i want to buy nba live 2006, but should i wait because they may release a 360 version when the new console comes out next month (43 days, i just checked the website)? and will the new wireless remotes be rechargable or do you just replace AA batteries?
yes they will have 360 games 2. like ps2 did when it came out. the xbox 360 is great

so you're saying i should wait to buy the 360 version of nba live 2006 if i'm going to buy the 360 console?
the wireless remote question is a good one.........
you will need AA batteries
also some games that are on XBOX won't work on 360, only a few select games.

I was just reading X BOX 360 and it said that ALL older Gen games are backwards compatible with the new console.
im waiting for all the games that are out now to come out for the 360 (madden 06, nba live 06, etc.)

Wrong
yea I read just there best selling games will be backwards compatible
Like Halo and tony hawk
Ok best selling games will be compatible but no one really knows what that means...whether its the platinum games for XBOX or just games that sold over a certain amount of copies...
As for the wireless controllers you can use AA batteries, you can buy rechargable batteries, or you can buy the Charge and play kit which lets you charge the remote while playing
Right out of the box, the 360 will be able to play some of the recent big titles for the Xbox 1 (Halo 2, for example). This backwards compatibility works on emulation, since the hardware in the 360 is very different than the current Xbox. This means content downloads will allow us to emulate more games as time goes on. But right around launch, as I understand, only a few big titles from the Xbox will be immediately playable on the 360. |
