I should have guessed by your name.  from Hk eh?

After watching that video with the asian guy from tufts rapping the bakery shop song i tried one when i was in washington...and the lady asked if i wanted tapiaco in it but i said no. It wasn't that good personally. I had mango with something else.

i think it tastes like   but thats just my opinion

Sometimes, there is a good place right by campus.  Although I'm still trying to find the caloric content of some of these drinks.

Does anyone know the recipe for actutally boiling the bubbles/pearls?  I could make a mean one if I knew how to make them.  I tried it once but it wasn't as good as going out.
Certain places boil the pearls in their own special sweet sauce.  I'm guessing some sort of brown sugar combo since the pearls end up brown.  MmMMmm...

really wish i knew what you guys were talking about.
sweet tea is the only tea i drink

  Hahah here's a starter kit...

So now we can make...

When water is boiled, pour in boba for 20min uncovered. Turn off fire and cover and let it sit for another 20min. Rinse and your good to go. For sweetning, add 1 cup of brown sugar for every 3-4 cups of boba. Also add 2 ounces of honey/longon syrup. The sweetning is your preference...how sweet you want it.

Ugh, this thread brings back s***** memories of working at Tapioca Express.  Oh how I'd love to bomb the people, not the store, of the Irvine location.

sagoooo omgggg sooo gooooood honey green tea with sago  x 129751975125125

I love bubble tea too.....but not at $5 a pop.  I'd rather get a six pack of Miller for that price

Thanks I just got myself an excuse to go drive for half an hour.  I purchased a wackload of pearls from the Chinese Supermarket!  Now I'm gonna have to have a bubble tea night...hehehe.  How did you find out how to make it?

Used to work in one. Forgot to tell you to stir it every 5 minutes during the boil .Also when you put brown sugar, disolve it with hot water. Good luck

Oh yeah once it's done, you said you rinse.  Do you rinse with cold, hot, or warm water?  And then what do you do to keep it fresh for a while?  I'm guessing it's only good for a few hours before it starts to have an icky texture.  Do you let it hang out in a certain temp of water when you aren't serving it right away?
